POETRY WORKSHOP WITH GLENNA LUSCHEI

The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center hosted internationally renowned poet Glenna Luschei for a poetry workshop in November, 2019. “Where I came from—a response to photographs in English and Spanish,” invited participants to respond verbally or in writing to portraits from the Facing Ourselves: Carpinteria exhibit. A public reading was given in the Arts Center courtyard by first-generation immigrants, and included a presentation by Santa Barbara Poet Laureate Laure-Anne Bosselaar, an immigrant from Belgium.
