Carpinteria, California

In 2019, a small beach-side town in southern California held a series of events celebrating Facing Ourselves: Carpinteria as it reflected the diverse community’s residents. In addition to an outdoor installation there was a gallery exhibition, poetry workshops and readings, and several Artist/Community conversations. You can hear an interview about the Facing Ourselves: Carpinteria installation on KCRW.
